Get those preorders in!

Today, Mafia: Definitive Edition was officially announced by 2K Games and immediately went up for preorder on the Xbox Store. When the listing leaked a few days ago, it was unclear if it was Xbox One X Enhanced, but today we got the answer.

Mafia: Definitive Edition runs at 4K resolution according to Microsoft Store. Considering it’s a remake, it should look spectacular on a 4K display. What’s even better is that it only costs $40 and comes with a lot more content than the original.

Remade from the ground up with a new game engine, an updated script, new cutscenes, additional gameplay sequences, and more, you’ll rise through the ranks of the Italian Mafia during the Prohibition era of organized crime. After a run-in with the mob, cab driver Tommy Angelo is thrust into a deadly underworld.

Mafia: Definitive Edition launches on August 28, priced at $40. You can preorder it right now or purchase it as part of the Mafia: Trilogy which is a much better deal in my opinion.
